USTH Bachelor's Programs Has Been Officially Accredited by HCERES

The Bachelor program of University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) has been officially accredited by The High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES). USTH Bachelor’s programs have been awarded the Accreditation Decision to the European standard for the period April, 2017 to April, 2020.
With the orientation to become an excellent university with advanced model, combining research and teaching, USTH always focuses on improving the training quality. This responsibility has been considered as the main tasks, in order to provide science and technology labor force with high quality. In June 2016, all six Master’s programs of USTH has been accredited to European standard by HCERES. The Bachelor’s accreditation, again ensures the quality of training and research activities of USTH.
HCERES is an independent organization, responsible for the quality assessment and accreditation for universities, research institutions and training programs. HCERES is also an official member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the European Higher Education Area and Bologna Process (EHEA). Hence, the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi is the first Public University in Vietnam has been accredited by an European Accreditation Body.

HCERES highlighted strengths of the Bachelor’s training programs including:
USTH training programs follow the Bologna Process for Diploma (LMD system 3/5/8). Accordingly, the duration of the Bachelor programs, Master programs and PhD programs is 3 years, 2 years and 3 years, respectively. This is an advanced model that is being widely applied in many reputable universities in Europe.

USTH ensures a close relationship between training and research through the establishment of the international standard laboratories.
USTH focused on enhancing the training quality by recruiting qualified lecturers and researchers who are holding the Doctorate Degrees and above, as well as having international work experience.
