  • Description:
    • Lecture class: Spatial referencing, projections and coordinate systems ; GIS Spatial Data Model (vector/raster), presentation of open access data sources for GIS.
    • Tutorial class: Manipulation and processing of geographic data with QGIS, an open source GIS software. Spatial analysis of vector/raster data (selection by attribute/location ; join, geopreocessing) applied to different themes: evaluation of land cover changes ; multi-criteria analysis for site selection. Integration of remote sensing data into a GIS.
